At Classic American Hardwoods we offer kiln dried random width and length lumber as well as width sorting, custom color sorting, gang ripping, finished surfacing and S4S/profiling.

Kiln Drying

Our kiln-drying operations are designed to deliver stable, consistent hardwood lumber ready for manufacturing and millwork applications. Through controlled drying processes, we achieve dependable moisture content that helps reduce movement, improve machining results, and ensure reliable performance across production runs.

Straight Line Rip

Straight-line ripping is performed to produce clean, uniform edges that prepare lumber for further processing. This service improves material yield and allows customers to receive lumber that is better suited for efficient downstream manufacturing.

Gang Rip

Our LICO optimized gang rip system allows us to process lumber into precise, consistent widths across a wide range of sizes. Advanced scanning and optimized cutting improve recovery, reduce waste, and support high-volume production with repeatable accuracy.

Surface Planing

We offer surfacing services using industry-proven equipment including the Newman S382 and Whitney 970 planers. From hit-or-miss to fully surfaced four sides (S4S), our planing operations deliver flat, smooth, dimensionally accurate lumber ready for finishing or immediate use.

Moulding & Profiling

Our moulding and profiling capabilities are supported by the Hydromat 3000, allowing us to efficiently produce base mouldings, crown mouldings, and custom profiles. This equipment supports consistent profile accuracy and repeatability for both standard and custom moulding programs.
Our custom mouldings are stacked and packaged for shipping.
Wood mouldings cut to any size and shpped to our customers.
